Pan Asia Logistics Singapore Pte Ltd officially broke ground at 10.30 a.m. today on a three-storey warehouse cum office building at Changi North, following an elaborate one-hour ceremony carried out by a ‘fengshui’ master.
The 200,000 sq. ft. building is designed to house a 160,000 sq. ft. warehouse space and 40,000 sq. ft. allocation for office usage. The new warehouse will be built with several different functional areas to cater to niche requirements such as air-conditioned storage, and medium to high security storage.
“We are extremely excited to have arrived at this very important milestone in the development of our company”, beamed a proud and happy Mr. Christian Bischoff, founder and Managing Director of Pan Asia Logistics. “We are all very excited and looking forward to finally having our own warehouse space and office, complete with after-hours facilities for the staff. The building will also have a large roof terrace and sky-garden.”
The Design & Building Project awarded to Boustead Projects Pte Ltd is Pan Asia Logistics’ biggest investment to date costing S$38 million, which includes a 30-year lease with JTC. The project is targeted for completion by the spring of 2011.
